Ahead of an exciting Betfred League One season ahead, North Wales Crusaders are looking to add a Head Of Performance Analysis to our performance team for the 2025 season.
Working alongside the Head Coach and Head Of Athletic Performance, your principle role will be provide the coaching team with relevant preparation material of opposition, provide coaches & players with the relevant review material and our recruitment team with insights into potential new signings.
This role will not only provide the applicant with the opportunity to work as a Lead Analyst in a professional rugby league club, but you will also work as the Lead Analyst for the Lions & Lionesses Elite 7’s squads – also owned by EggChaser. The side travelled to over 10 countries last year, facing the likes of Kenya, Uganda, USA, Australia and China.
Example roles & responsibilities include:
• Film and Clip training sessions
• Film and Clip matchdays
• Provide previews and reviews to coaches as requested
• Provide individualised clips to players as requested
• Work alongside the media team with relevant marketing
There will be opportunities to work with our National 7’s Academy staff.
North Wales Crusaders training currently takes place in Liverpool, whilst matchdays are at Colwyn Bay. The Lions and Lionesses compete globally, whilst the squads principally train around London.
This opportunity would initially be on a part-time basis with around four hours of field training per week alongside match/tournament days. Whilst initially unpaid, the successful candidate will be supported with travel expenses, kit, meals and the opportunity to travel overseas in elite sport.
The successful candidate will have:
• Experience/Ambition to be working in Pro Sport
• Valid UK’s drivers license
• A DBS/Ability to gain one
• A strong-work ethic
