Head Of Academy: EggChaser Crusaders Rugby Academy
As part of our ambitions as a professional rugby league club, we are looking to develop a world-class academy to not only support our ambitions for our first team, but to develop a strong rugby league participation group in the long-term.
The successful candidate will be enlisted to lead, and navigate the development of a National Rugby League Academy programme with a focus on developing a world-class pathway both here and overseas.
As an ownership group, EggChaser are committed to not only creating a world-class first team squad, but we also want to develop a number of world-class playing opportunities for Crusaders players. The Crusaders reserves, 9’s and 7’s squads will all have dedicated playing schedules ahead of the new season.
The successful individual will be reporting directly to the CEO of EggChaser, alongside liaising with the Head Coach of the North Wales Crusaders first team, and other key stakeholders.
Examples roles & responsibilities will include:
– Lead the Coaching and Management of the North Wales Crusaders Reserve Squad
– Lead the Coaching, Management and Development of the North Wales Crusaders Elite Development Squads
– Lead the Coaching and Management of the Crusader 7’s squad
– Lead the Coaching and Management of the Crusader 9’s squad
– Lead the establishment of North Wales Crusaders National Academy programme
– Lead the recruitment, retention and development of Academy & Development coaches
– Work alongside the North Wales Crusaders Head Coach on events such as the Crusaders Talent ID Days
The role will principally be based at the new EggChaser North Head Office, however, given the nature of the role it’s expected that the majority of the hours will be carried out at various sporting venues.
This role is full-time, with a competitive package available.
