North Wales Crusaders are delighted to confirm a new one-year-deal for Wales international Ben Evans who extends his stay in North Wales until the end of the 2025 season.
Evans began his career at Super League outfit Warrington Wolves with loan spells at Bradford Bulls, Leigh and Rochdale, before leaving Warrington to join London Broncos ahead of the 2017 season.
He made close to a half-century of appearances in the capital before crossing the channel to join Toulouse in 2019.
Evans returned to Bradford for the 2021 season where he made 33 appearances for the club, scoring five tries earning himself a move to Cumbria to link up with Barrow Raiders before linking up with Carl Forster at Crusaders in 2024.
On the international stage, Evans made his Wales debut against France in 2012 before going on to represent his country at the 2013 Rugby League World Cup and most recently turning out for the national side in October’s World Cup qualifiers.
On Evan’s new deal, Crusaders head coach Carl Forster said: “I’m delighted Ben has decided to stay for another year.
“He’s had offers elsewhere which is a testament to the player he is and the quality he possesses, so it’s brilliant for the club that he’s agreed a new deal here.”
