The North Wales Crusaders are delighted to welcome Chris Williams to the club who joins our performance team as Head of Athletic Performance.

Chris joins the club with a wealth of experience gained across a variety of sports, including elite level hockey, rugby union, rugby league and weightlifting.

Chris has held positions with professional clubs and organisations throughout his career, including with the British Army.

On joining the club, Williams, who hails from Colwyn Bay said: “I am delighted to be joining North Wales Crusaders as the Head of Athlete Performance.

Having worked across multiple sports and in elite performance environments, this is a really exciting opportunity for me to support the performances of an exciting team. I’m looking forward to the challenge ahead and can’t wait to get started.”

Crusaders’ Head of Rugby Darren Morson added: “I am extremely pleased to appoint Chris Williams as our Head of Athletic Performance at Crusaders.

Chris has a wealth of experience in S&C performance including the Welsh hockey team, rugby union clubs including RGC, Welsh weightlifting team in the commonwealth games and the Army Rugby league Team.

Chris will be working closely with Carl and his coaching team, as well as alongside the growing medical team, to ensure the highest level of performance is given to the team.”
