North Wales Crusaders can confirm that our home game on Sunday 11th August shall take place at Chester RUFC due to the unavailability of Stadiwm CSM.
The club were informed by Conwy Council that owing to improvement works being undertaken on the running track, the stadium would be unavailable for the fixture.
Having looked into various options with our primary focus to keep the game in North Wales if possible, the only option at such notice which matched the RFL’s stadium criteria was Chester, with the match to take place there subject to RFL approval.
Tickets for the game are priced at £10 adults and free for under 16’s, and can be purchased by clicking here.
North Wales Crusaders Chairman Jamie Elkaleh commented: “Whilst the news of the unavailability of the stadium is extremely disappointing and an issue which we are currently in discussions with with council regarding, I encourage as many fans as possible to back the boys in what could be a crucial game for our season.
“We will return to Colwyn Bay for our final game of the season when we face Cornwall on Sunday 1st September, and in way of gratitude for your unwavering support whilst also wanting to attract new faces to the club, I have taken the decision to offer free tickets for that game provided they are claimed by the Friday before (30th August).
“For season ticket holders, we shall also have an exclusive offer going out to you via email later this week.“
