North Wales Crusaders are delighted to announce a new two-year-deal for stand-out winger, Ollie Brookes, seeing him remain in North Wales until the end of the 2027 season.

Brookes arrived at Crusaders in the off-season from Championship outfit, Widnes Vikings.

One of several stand-out performers so far this season, the 24-year-old has played a vital part in Carl Forster’s side, helping them sit top of Betfred League One with eight games remaining.

Having put pen to paper on a new deal, Brookes shall now remain with North Wales until the conclusion of the 2027 season.

Speaking about his new deal, he said: “I’m really excited to keep the momentum we’ve created here so far going for the rest of this season and also the next two years.

“It’s a great feeling to be able to continue with this group, I really enjoy playing with them and have the greatest respect for every member of the squad and coaching staff here.”

On Brooke’s new deal, Crusaders head coach Carl Forster added: “Ollie is a class act.

“To keep him at the club is a huge plus for us all. He’s come into the group during the off-season and slotted in as if he’s been here years both on and off the field.

“He gets all the plaudits for the tries he scores, but he does so much good work at the other end of the field too.

“He’s still young and has improvement in him which is a scary thought.

“Im made up to keep hold of him for a further two years.”
