Former Wigan Warriors academy product Joe Baldwin has put pen to paper on a new deal at the club seeing him remain part of Carl Forster’s squad for the 2025 season.

Having played at Orrell St James during his junior career, Baldwin was signed by the Warriors in 2019 where he gained valuable experience before moving to North Wales in 2024.

Making an impact within Forster’s side, Baldwin became a key figure towards the back end of last season, picking up Young Player Of The Year at the club’s End Of Season Awards.

On retaining Joe, Crusaders head coach Carl Forster said: “I’m really happy to keep Joe on board.

“Last year he came in unknown to the group and a young lad, full of energy wanting to learn.

“He ended the year starting and playing big minutes, he was outstanding and deservedly won young player of the year.

“Joe will only get better the more he plays and I’m really happy that it shall be with Crusaders.”
