North Wales Crusaders are delighted to confirm the signing of Wales Students international, Lloyd Evans on deal until the end of the 2024 season.
Evans, who’s rugby union background saw him come through the RGC system before going on play for Llandudno RFC, was selected for Wales Students Rugby League this year, scoring on his debut appearance against England last month.
Having been called up to train with the North Wales Crusaders first-team, Evans impressed head coach Carl Forster enough to earn himself a deal at the club.
On signing for Crusaders, Evans said: “I’m really excited and grateful for the opportunity to play for a great club like North Wales Crusaders.
“I’m looking forward to putting in the hard work to be able to try and get in this team.”
Crusaders head coach Carl Forster commented: “I’m delighted to sign Lloyd on a deal and continue to watch his progression alongside the current group we have here.
“We’ve all got one aim which we’re focused on, and that’s making the play-offs, and each and everyone of this squad will play their part in that during the course of the season.
“Adding some local, Welsh talent into the squad will also help us as we progress to developing our own players and providing that pathway for the young players who we see engaged with the North Wales Crusaders Foundation.
