North Wales Crusaders supporters shall be showing their support for Kevin Sinfield this Sunday as the rugby league legend arrives in Wrexham to conclude the first of his seven day challenge in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association.

The former rugby league star and current England rugby union coach will lead his fundraising team for their fifth annual running challenge in support of the charity, with this year’s theme being ‘running home for Christmas’.

Sinfield, who was inspired to start raising money for the MND Association after his former Leeds Rhinos and England teammate, Rob Burrow, was diagnosed with the disease in 2019, will begin his week-long challenge on Sunday (December 1)  with Kevin and the team set to cover over 50km per day, visiting seven regions across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Sunday’s first-leg shall see the team depart from Liverpool headed for North Wales, passing through Lavister, Rossett, Marford, Gresford and Acton, before arriving at the SToK Cae Ras just after 5.30pm.

Crusaders supporters have arranged to meet outside the Acton Hotel, Chester Road, Wrexham at 4:30pm on Sunday to show their support for Kevin and the team.
