North Wales Crusaders shall rub shoulders with rugby league’s elite next month as they compete in the RFL Women’s Nines festival, packed with talent including all eight Betfred Women’s Super League teams!

Lead by Head of Academy, Jon Burgess, the Crusaders Women shall be part of the festival for the first time, marking a historic moment in the club’s history.

This year’s festival will feature an exciting new format that combines the full tournament and finals into a single action-packed day.

Reigning champions, Wigan Warriors, are back to defend their unbeaten title from last year’s tournament. They’ll be joined by the remaining seven teams from the Betfred Women’s Super League, along with the addition of brand-new teams set to shake up the competition.

This year’s Nines has a unique polaroid theme and we’re inviting everyone to “Put Yourself in the Picture” for what promises to be a picture-perfect day of high-energy, fast-paced Women’s Rugby League, on and off the pitch.

This year’s festival experience will include:

 • A vibrant Sports Village for athletes

  • Unique ‘Instagrammable’ photo spots

  • Bingo cards and activities for younger fans

The fun doesn’t stop there! To add to this year’s excitement, the festival will feature live music from Jamie Anne, the official DJ for Manchester City FC, who’ll bring the ultimate festival vibe to accompany the exhilarating Rugby League action.

Tickets for the day are on sale now HERE.
