North Wales Crusaders will tackle of the UK’s highest peaks early next month as Carl Forster’s side climb Yr Wyddfa in aid of Welsh Mountain Zoo.
The squad will set off on the 14.5km hike on Saturday 8th March as they climb 3,199 feet to the summit.
Speaking about the challenge, Forster said: “We wanted to give the group something which would challenge them whilst acting as a good team bonding exercise as we look ahead to returning to league action in three weeks time.
“This is something different and will also help build stronger connection to our local area whilst raising money for the important work undertaken by Welsh Mountain Zoo.”
