North Wales Crusaders are seeking a professional and ambitious individual to join us as Head of Athletic Performance with immediate effect.

The successful candidate will work alongside our Head Coach, Head of Rugby & Head of Medical, to assist with our goal of producing a world-class performance environment for our athletes to achieve their best.

An example of responsibilities include:

• Attendance at ALL training sessions and match days
• Leading the athletic performance section of the warm-up for matches
• Leading warm-ups and fitness components of training sessions as agreed with Head Coach
• Leading S&C Sessions
• Creating, editing and modifying programmes as required for North Wales Crusaders senior squad players
• Using the latest technology – Making session plans as effective when the team are away from one another as well as during training/match sessions.
• Recruit and develop of team of interns/work placement students to support with Athletic Performance operations

You will have/be:

• Access to our own vehicle
• Ambition
• Be a team-focussed person
• Have a VALID UK driver’s license
• Could gain/hold a DBS

This role is part-time and requires commitments on Wednesday & Friday evenings for training and a Saturday/Sunday for matchdays. With further requirements such as remote support, Time commitment for this role will be around 12-15 hours a week. We are part time today but want to push on. We are interested in investing in candidates who will invest their energy in us.

Training is held in the Liverpool area, whilst home games take place at Colwyn Bay. However you may be required to travel to other venues primarily in Rugby League territory.
