North Wales Crusaders are delighted to confirm former Warrington Wolves centre Cole Oakley has signed a new deal with the club for the 2025 season.
Oakley began his career at Super League side Warrington Wolves where we made his top flight debut in 2020 before moving onto have spells at Newcaslte, Halifax and Swinton in addition to a period on loan in North Wales in 2023.
Oakley re-joined Carl Forster’s Crusaders side during the 2024 season and has now put pen to paper on a new one-year-deal which will see him remain at the club until the end of the 2025 season.
On signing his new contract, Oakley said: “I’m really happy to be signing a new deal with the club for this year.
“I’ve loved my rugby playing for Crusaders and under Foz, and the signings we have made for this year means that it should be exciting for the fans as we push for that promotion this year.”
Crusaders head coach Carl Forster added: “It’s great to finally get Cole on a permanent deal.
“After two successful loan spells he was already a Crusaders player in the group.
“He’s a great line runner and really strong in defence, I’m made up to have him with us for 2025.”
