North Wales Crusaders are delighted to announce the signing of former Super League prop, and current Wales international, Ant Walker until the end of the 2026 season.
Walker began his career in the top-flight with St’ Helens and Wakefield before enjoying spells at Bradford, Widnes and most recently Swinton with whom he competed in the Betfred Championship last season.
A current international, Walker has become a popular figure within the Wales camp, making appearances in both European Championship and World Cup campaigns for the Dragons.
Walker shall join Carl Forster’s Crusaders side immediately and will be available for selection for the club’s next game away to Goole Vikings on Sunday 23rd March.
On signing for Crusaders, Walker said: “I’m buzzing to be joining North Wales.
“I’m hearing nothing but good things coming from the club, and after speaking to players and staff there, the club is going in the right direction.
“Wales rugby is something that I am passionate about, and to now sign for the only professional team in Wales is something I am proud to do.”
North Wales Crusaders head coach Carl Forster added: “I’m made up to bring Ant Walker in.
“We’ve been looking for a prop, and when he became available we acted quickly.
“I’ve known walks for years now and played with him, he’s smart with the ball and exactly the type of player we needed to bring in to the group.
“Being a Welsh international too, he’s a huge signing for the club.”
Walker will take the squad number 32 for the 2025 season.
