North Wales Crusaders are delighted to confirm the signing of Lloyd Roby on a two-year-deal beginning next season.

The versatile back arrives from Betfred Championship side Widnes Vikings having enjoyed a career in the second tier with the Vikings as well as time at Keighley Cougars.

Having made his professional debut for Widnes against Warrington Wolves back in 2017, Roby shall add a blend of experience and quality to the 2025 North Wales Crusaders side.

On the signing for Crusaders, Roby said: “When the club approached me and told me about the plan moving forward, it was hard not to want to be a part of it.

“I think this could be the start of something special.

“I want to add to the group that’s already here and hopefully help us to achieve what the end goal is.”

North Wales Crusaders head coach Carl Forster commented: “Lloyd is another quality addition to the squad for 2025, and it’s yet another sign of the club’s ambition going forward.

“It’s no secret that we’ve had a very young squad this year, so to be adding a player of Lloyd’s calibre and experience to that shall only help us for the next two years.”
