🗒️ Opposition

Midlands Hurricnaes will prove to be a tough test for Carl Forster’s Crusaders side this weekend, arriving in Colwyn Bay a place above North Wales in the Betfred League One table.

The visitor’s have vastly improved this year and have occupied a position within the play-off places since early in the season.

A victory over Workington coupled by pushing highly placed Keighley and Hunslet sides close have been highlights of the season so far, whilst convincing wins over Newcastle have aided the Hurricane’s points difference.

Crusaders have come up against Mark Dunning’s side twice already this season, with the spoils falling evenly as each team won their home encounter.

🗣️ What The Coach Says

Speaking to the media this week, North Wales Crusaders head coach Carl Forster has expressed a desire for his side to continue their climb up the League One table with a victory over Midlands this weekend.

“Midlands have really come on this season, they’re constantly improving and that can only be a good thing for the game as a whole.

“They’ve spent big and have some quality players within their ranks, having said that, do I back by boys to go out there and match them? Ofcourse I do.

“We’ve got a point to prove in this game, we played them away a few weeks back, and it was probably our worst performance of the season to date, we’re back at home and it’s time we put on a show for our fans and let’s continue to climb the table.”
