North Wales Crusaders are delighted to announce the signing of former Widnes Viking’s prop, Will Tilleke for the 2026 season.
Tilleke made his debut with Widnes back in 2021 during a Betfred Challenge Cup victory over West Wales Raiders before going on to make 40 appearances for the Vikings gaining valuable experience in the Championship before announcing that he would be taking a break from the game during the 2024 season.
The talented 25-year-old has now put pen to paper with Crusaders, and shall join Carl Forster’s League One champions for the 2026 season.
Speaking about signing for the club, Tilleke said: “I’d like to thank Carl and everyone at the club for giving me this opportunity.
“I know what a good group it is here and I can’t wait to be apart of it an see what we can achieve together next season.”
Crusaders head coach Carl Forster added: “Will is someone who I’ve tried to bring into the club numerous times in the past.
“He’s a big middle who’s can play in the back row, and he will add real competition in those positions and bring a wealth of experience playing at a higher level.”
