North Wales Crusaders are delighted to announce the signing of Betfred League One’s 2025 top try scorer, Luke Forber, for the 2026 season.
The tricky winger joins Carl Forster’s Crusaders side from fellow League One outfit Rochdale Hornets whom he joined from Clock Face Miners back in 2023.
Since making to step up to the professional leagues, Forber hasn’t looked back, with the 2025 season being his most successful to date, topping the League One try scoring charts with an impressive 21 scores during the campaign, one ahead of Crusaders’ Sam Wilde.
On signing Forber for the 2026 season, North Wales head coach Carl Forster said: “Luke is a player who really fits our style of play and will bring something different to the wing next season.
“His try scoring record this year speaks for itself and I think he’ll really compliment the lads who we have here and also the others who we have joining us for next season.”
On joining North Wales Crusaders, Forber commented: “I am really looking forward to the new 2026 season with North Wales Crusaders.
“I’m excited for the next chapter in my rugby career and looking forward to the new challenges that lie ahead.
“Hopefully I can be a good addition to the club and help them to achieve their ambitions.
“I can’t wait to get started.”
