North Wales Crusaders are delighted to confirm a new deal for Joe Baldwin who extends his stay in North Wales until the end of the 2027 season.

Having played at Orrell St James during his junior career, Baldwin was signed by Super League outfit Wigan Warriors in 2019 where he gained valuable experience before moving to Crusaders in 2024.

Making an impact within Carl Forster’s side, Baldwin became a key figure towards the back end of last season, picking up Young Player Of The Year at the club’s End Of Season Awards, form which he has carried into 2025, earning him a contract extension until the end of the 2027 season.

On his new deal, Baldwin said: “I’m buzzing to have signed another two years here.

“The coaching staff and lads are quality, and my game has developed loads in my past two years at this great club.

“Now I’m excited for see what the next two years bring both for my personal career and Crusaders in general to see how far the club can go.”

North Wales Crusaders head coach Carl Forster added: “Joe is a brilliant young player and you can see the development in his game year on year.

“He’s learning well from some of the experienced lads around him this year, and I to know that the next two years will see him continue his development in a Crusaders shirt is exciting for the club.”
