North Wales Crusaders are delighted to confirm the signing of Welsh international, Charlie Glover, from Salford Red Devils.

Having begun his playing career at Halton Farnworth Hornets, Glover was picked up by Widnes Viking’s Scholarship programme in 2019 before moving onto Salford Red Devil’s Rising Stars programme in 2020.

Glover made his top-flight debut with Salford back in 2024 featuring in the Red Devils’ squad during their Round 27 clash against Wigan Warriors before making the permanent step up to the first-team in December of that year.

Having made a handful of Betfred Super League appearances in 2025, Glover earned his full Wales call up during this month’s victory over Ireland where he featured for the Red Dragons from the bench.

Becoming Dean Muir’s first addition ahead of North Wales’ 2026 Betfred Championship campaign, the Crusaders Head Coach said: “I’m really excited to get Charlie over the line. He was someone we identified as soon as I got the job.

“He has played Super League and was in the Welsh team that beat Ireland at the weekend.

“He’s a middle with good skill and something different to our middle group. I’m excited to work him.”
