Having secured their place in the Betfred League One play-offs with a 72-6 victory over Newcastle, Carl Forster’s North Wales Crusaders will welcome Swinton Lions to Colwyn Bay this weekend in a top of the table clash.

Swinton, the only side to have beaten Forster’s Crusaders so far this season, will be looking to spoil the party this weekend as a North Wales victory coupled with Keighley beating Workington would be enough for the hosts to secure the League One title with four games to spare.

However, Crusaders’ own task is far from easy this weekend with the Lions set to arrive in North Wales in fine form, including a victory over fellow play-off contenders Midlands Hurricanes last weekend.

With players on both sides of the divide coming up against their former clubs, you can be sure of a physical encounter come kick-off on Sunday afternoon.
