North Wales Crusaders are pleased to confirm a new deal for Paddy Jones, seeing him remain at the club for the 2026 season.

Jones was signed by Carl Forster during the off-season with previous experience coming through professional academy systems before going on to establish himself in the Championship with Swinton Lions.

His Crusaders career to date has seen him quickly become a fan favourite, known for his hard-hitting, no nonsense approach to the game.

On Jones putting pen to paper on a new deal, North Wales head coach Carl Forster said: “It’s great to keep Paddy at the club for another year.

“He’s fitted into the group really well this year, he does a real unselfish job for the team and does it well.

“He’s improving with every game, and I’ve got no doubt he will keep doing so next season.”

On his new deal, Jones added: “I’m made up to be staying at the club for another season.

“I’ve really enjoyed this season with such a good group of lads.”
