North Wales Crusaders are delighted to announce the signing of experienced Championship centre, Jayden Hatton, who shall join the club for the 2026 season.
Hatton has enjoyed a successful career in the second tier, plying his trade at Widnes, Swinton and Featherstone from whom he was released last month to pursue playing opportunities closer to home linking back up with Swinton Lions for the remainder of the 2025 season.
Hatton, who can play both at centre and on the wing, has an eye for the try line, grabbing headlines just last weekend with a hat-trick for the Lions.
Signing a one-year-deal with Crusaders, he shall link up with Carl Forster’s squad for the 2026 season.
On joining the club, Hatton said: “I’m really looking forward to joining Crusaders next year.
“They are an ambitious club who play some good rugby and have a really good project going.
“They are building something special which I can’t wait to be a part of.”
North Wales Crusaders head coach Carl Forster added: “It’s great to bring Jayden to the club.
“He’s someone who I’ve admired for a long time now and as soon as we knew there was a chance to bring him to the club we acted on it.
“He’s a strong carrier of the ball and knows his way to the tryline.
“He will bring some real strike to our edges and I’m really looking forward to working with him next season.”
