North Wales Crusaders head coach Carl Forster has been named the Betfred League One coach of the year with half-back Jordy Gibson being nominated for the League’s player of the year award.
Forster led Crusaders to the League One title in 2025 with 14 wins from 18 games in his first season fully on the sidelines having hung up his playing boots at the end of the 2024 campaign.
The achievement has now been recognised by fellow coaches whose votes have seen him awarded the coach of the year title for the 2025 season.
Meanwhile, North Wales’ Jordy Gibson has made the final three players shortlisted for the Betfred League One Player of The Season award to be presented in Manchester on Tuesday 7th October.
