North Wales Crusaders are delighted to announce we will be welcoming Wigan Warriors to Stadiwm:Eirias for a pre league season fixture on Saturday 10th January 2026.
The match which will be the squad’s final game prior to the start of the 2026 Betfred Championship season will provide a fantastic opportunity for the players to nail down their names to positions as Dean Muir looks to confirm his selection for the first league and cup fixtures.
On the game, Wigan Warriors Head Coach, Matt Peet said, “We look forward to visiting Wales in our first hit out of the year. It will provide us a great opportunity to progress our preparation for the season ahead.”
Dean Muir, Crusaders head coach added his thoughts: “It’s a great opportunity for our boys to test themselves against a leading Super League side. We have had a good start to pre-season, and to finish this block with a test like Wigan will give us the spring board we need into the championship season. We have a few Wigan lads across the playing group and I know they’re super excited for this one.”
This exciting event is planned as an ALL-Ticket game with no on the day sales, due to stadium regulations around security and stewarding.
