We are delighted to announce that Jordy Gibson has penned a contract extension with the club, which will see him remain a Crusaders player until the end of the 2028 season.
Jordy, who arrived for his second spell at the club ahead of the 2025 season, was a mainstay as the club clinched the 2025 RFL League 1 title with a game to spare – our first title in more than a decade.
Now, working with new Head Coach Dean Muir, an updated Crusaders squad which has been reinforced with a number of strong signings as well as key player retentions, means supporters can look forward to seeing Jordy running out at Stadiwm:Eirias for the next few seasons to come.
On the extension of Jordy’s contract – Head Coach, Dean Muir said, “I’m really happy to secure a deal early for Jordy to extend his stay at the club. He plays a vital role in our attack and his leadership and respect in the group is massive. He applies himself well in training and gets better every week. Jordy is a great person and someone I am happy to be able to work with for the next 3 years”
On committing his future to the club, Jordy added “Delighted to have signed again for Crusaders, really loved being back at the club and having the success we had last year. Looking forward to working with Dean and the quality he has brought in this year and continuing to play in front of the Crusader’s loyal fans. Hoping for a big 2026 in the championship. Cheers, Gibbo.👍🏼”
